I Live, You Live?

From zero to infinity,
With lot's of things like rocks and trees,
I learn to speak-and bleat-and sneeze,

I see-and feel-and love-and steel,
And wonder if the world is real,
I grow-and age-and grieve-and weep,
I eat-I breathe-I even sleep,
Whether I dream I'm not quite sure,
Dreams are usually easier to endure,

I live-I laugh-I hurt,
My energy-it comes in spurts,
What wonder is this thing called time,
Swimming as the winds unwind,
And not forgot-I also rhyme.

Zombie Nightmare

Scree! makes the sound of nails on the black board,

Screeeeam!! makes the sound of the prey of an evil zombie hoard.

Eeek!! makes the sound of a girl,

The zombies just entered the bathroom,

“Don’t worry, I’ll save you!” And Hero picks up and defends with a broom.

“Hit it, hit it!” cried the girl,

And Hero wacked off it’s head,

But the Zombie still moved,

With a startling gasp,

. . .

He was safe in his bed.

Whatever Comes to Mind

On a hot summer’s day,

Two months past May,

A field of flowers and a few trees,

Swaying in the soft breeze,

A whisp of wind,

And the petals begin to swim.

A wonderful feeling,

A mysterious esscence,

That can only be felt

when you open all of your senses.

The Disappearance of Time and Communication

Stop all the clocks,

Cut off the telephone

and civilization,
Shall most definitely be ruined.

Where time is nothing but a myth,

And phones are not even that,

These treasures of humanity,

Known to all worldwide,

Have ceased to exist.

In a long forgotten world,

Where an inch can be an everlasting plain,

And where mortals have never reign.

2/14/07-Here's my poem Today- I haven't decided if this is going to be a weekly thing or not. This is in a Shakespearean Sonnet style.

Falling Lost but Flying Found

In all of my fears,

In my deepest dreams,

In a river of tears,

Nothing feels like what it seems.

Fallin’ over myself,

In an infinite hole.

Never get any help,

It is black and cold.

Seein’ light at the top,

Just an instant of flare,

Down an endless drop,

All I need is somebody to care.

Falling lost-here you are,

But flying found-perfect now, I’m like a star.

Facts: Toby is in love with Rachel Seara. Has random visions and a nightmare of himself he suspects is a vision of the future. The only close friend of Toby's that is not a Magi-Knight is Dylan Skyden, a star baskett ball player on Colander Middle School's basketball team, and who often comes to Toby for advice on how to impress Suzie, who Dylan has revealed to be his secret crush. Knowing Dylan (Lan for short), Toby hasn't many qualms with his interest in his twin sister and does his best to advise him. But despite this, Lan has yet to follow Toby's most important advice- "Just tell her you like her!"

Background: He is a puzzle to himself as well as his sister-who is the only other person in the world who knows about his nightmare. Albeit, Toby has never told her what the nightmare is about. It terrifies him each time he has it, and he's had the dream since he was three-years old. He fears his dream because he believes it is a vision of what he will/could become in the future. Metaphorically or otherwise, looking into the mirror he sees a potential monster waiting to destroy the lives of anyone who gets too close to him. Despite this, Toby believes in making friends as long as he can keep the monster inside him locked up tight within his dreams. Suzie once noted that Toby only has the dream during stormy weather. It seems that lately, ever since he met his familliar Clouzi, he can hold back the nightmare even during storm weather.

Rachel and his twin sister have been best friends since they were in preschool. Toby and his best friend, Kurt Markuay often join them in activities and are looked upon in school as a group. Toby plays as a forward on Colander Middle School's soccer team along with his best friend, Kurt. He has played soccer since before he can remember. Despite his field skills and people skills, and to the disappointment of his parents, Toby has shyed away from accepting a team captain position offered to him. His parents both see the leadership potential he has and have, on a number of occasions, attempted to push him to positions that would allow that potential to blossom. He has shyed away from all leadership positions-that is, until he accidentally became the leader of the Magi-Knights.
Tracker History: When Toby finally confronted the ill-tempered new kid, Eric Guiver, preventing a fight that would have landed another of Toby's friends suspended, he inadvertantly revealed his Magimon familiar to the boy. Initially, this is what lead Eric to Toby after his own Magimon familiar had appeared. And, after realising that Eric had the same mystery on his hands (the Magimon) he made a snap decision to befriend the rough boy, hoping that time with his friends could change the boy's nature. With Kurt's permission, Toby set up a sleep over at Kurt's house to initiate Eric into the group with a friendly bonding experience. Despite the complaints he had overheard Eric saying to his mother at one of Toby's soccer games, Toby found that Eric was a formidable opponent in one-on-one on the field.

He accidentally became the leader of the Magi-Knights. A team made up of his close friends (including Eric) who were revealed to have been drawn to each other because of an ancient destiny to protect the world by fighting corrupt Magimon and bannishing them back to their prison-planet.

1/24/08 Yay! I stuck to the schedule!
Hey eveyone! Okay, this week's updates are as follows:
Image of the week was changed. Look for a new image next monday!
Book Watch featured the author Timothy Zahn and his Dragonback Advetures series
A new poem was featured called The Dissappearance of TIme and Communication
YGO!-GX episode 171 is up
and BookWatch and Poetry Archive pages have been updated.
The Mythology front page has been updated with links to the different myth region pages.
I can't wait for next week and to continue this rate of content.

1/18/08 We'll just pretend I'm posting this two days ago.
Hey everyone! Okay I know I'm posting this late but I had a lot to do. I have filled out the Art Gallery. Check it out. There's a second page now! And I have begun filling out the first 5 Magimon profiles in the Magimon Species List under the Magimon title in Original Stories. Yes, the second chapter of Magimon was actually uploaded/formatted ahead of schedule, but my schedule was slightly miscalculated. I still have more to do. I have several sketches to upload to the fan art page in the Marvel GA section. I'm trying to figure out the next Book Watch recommendation. I'm also searching for several new Rockin' Trailers. And if anybody has some interesting Random news feel free to attack that page. I have also placed up the latest episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (170) in that section and am working to update the news on the cardgame. Speaking of cardgames, I need to begin the next chapter of Card Summoners-after I finish chapter 1 of Dragon Battles.

Along with the titles I am currently writing through, I am planning on introducing at least two more of the listed titles in the Original Stories section this year. The first will be Dragon Battles, the second, wich will most likely be released some time in the fall (based on how long it takes to write and how much time I get to write) and will be the title Jet Storm-The Wanderer. I am hoping to add the second chapters to all the titles I have introduced by the end of 2008 and hopefully even the third chapters. I am definately planning on having the third chapter of Magimon done this year. Most likely it will be released around the middle of summer. If I finish my sketch-manga of the first chapter of Animorphs by K. A. Apllegate this year I will also be adding that. Also, the original format of updates to the site will be reinstated-which means, come next Monday, I will be changing the picture in the Image of the Week,
Tuesday I (might) add a new Book Watch entry,
Wednesday you'll find a new poem in the Poetry section,
and Thursday a new episode of YGO!GX
Friday . . . I will rest for a break.

1/11/08 OMG! 5 days to the site's one year anniversary!

Okay, I know I haven't put out an entry in a long while but I haven't been slacking. It just takes a while. In honor of the anniversary on the 16th I plan on releasing several more pictures-new art I have made over the past few months. Unfortunately I'm stuck right now making sure that they all get my signature and the website adress. Some I still need to scan in! Anyway the one other big thing is that I'VE FIINISHED MAGIMON CHAPTER 2!!! Over the next few days I will be uploading and reformatting the chapter. But I need all five days because there is 21 pages in the chapter!! Long chapter I know, but well worth the read. Things start to get crazy there at the end and I guarantee it will leave you drooling over not knowing what happens next. Gotta wait till that third chapter is finished though. I'm still trying to figure out how the chapter itself will play out next and from who's perspective (besides Toby's) I will use to convey the next few scenes in the story.

MGN-BK1:Ch3.15

“Clouzi, I didn’t know you could turn into . . . into that other cloud-thing,” Toby said finally.

“Of course,” Clouzi replied, “I’m a Magimon, silly.”

Toby just shook his head and smiled. He would have a lot of questions for Sororo in the future. But now, he realized, he was extremely tired. He was

exhausted from all the heart-pumping action that had nearly killed him and, <it’s also waaaay past midnight.> Toby yawned, raising his right hand to his lips, and then whispered to no one, “I need sleep.”

“Yes you do!” agreed a familiar voice.

Toby nearly fell off his wobbly legs at the sound. He looked around the clearing, searching for signs of movement until he realized the voice had come

from his glove. “Sororo.” Toby said raising his glove to his lips again.

“Yes,” confirmed the shadowy mage.

“The Magimon has been banished . . . I think,” said Toby.

“Indeed it has. Good job,” Sororo agreed yet again. “Now you need to listen carefully. I’m going to tell you the spell you’ll need to get back here. And then

I’m sending all of you back home. You’ve had a long night. I had hoped we’d first meet a little earlier in the day than this,” he chuckled. Somehow, Toby felt the chuckle was comforting after the ordeal he’d just been through.

Sororo had Toby repeat the spell several times before he was aloud to actually use it, explaining that getting it wrong could result in a very bad

scrambling of his particles. When Sororo felt he was ready, Toby-with Clouzi on his shoulder-extended his arm, wand in hand, upward and envisioned the wide, indistinct room he and his friends had first been teleported to. Then, thinking it was the most ridiculous chant for a spell he’d ever heard, shouted, “Tele-trans Blast-wave!”

Toby was back in the room. He was standing back on the tile platform Sororo had called the Transport Station. The rest was a blur, really. Sororo

congratulated Toby again, everyone ran to him voicing their worries and relief-apparently Sororo had switched the T.V. screen for everyone to be able to view the mission-they all clambered up onto the platform with their Magimon and then the synthetic voice said, “Transporting to return destination. Designate: Markuay residents, library room.”

They were in the library of Kurt’s house again. It was dark. The lantern was gone. Toby noticed Kurt’s eyes bug when he realized the lantern wasn’t

there. “Did all that really just happen?” Eric whispered, voicing the question they were all thinking.

“My heart rate says it did,” Toby replied, looking at his hand and realizing he was back in his regular clothes. The glove had become a watch again.

Toby thought about trying to press it again and see if his clothes became the suit but it was late, and he was far too tired for any of the questions it would raise.

“Where’s the book?” asked Rachel.

Automatically, Toby pointed to the nearest shelf and said, “Try looking between two leather bounds.” He suddenly realized what he had just said but it

was already too late for him to take it back. Rachel walked over to the shelf, reached out and pulled the familiar book out of its hastily-made slot. She looked at Toby and he could see the question in her eyes.

“How did you know where it was?” It was Suzie who ended up asking.

“I, uh-lucky guess,” Toby said half heartedly. He looked around the room and and even through the darkness he could see that nobody believed his

answer. But, thankfully, no one pressed further. He realized they were all too tired to deal with any more mysteries the night might produce.

“Can we just get to my room already,” Kurt said with a quiver in his voice.

“All right,” agreed Toby, “I think we should all just get as much sleep as we can with what little night there is left.” He turned to the door and they all

followed him out. Then he let Suzie move in front of him, remembering how easy it was for her to navigate the dark. As she lead the way back to Kurt’s room, Toby couldn’t help thinking about the book being right where he had seen it placed in his mind. <So,> a cloud of worry crept over his thoughts, <It was a vision.> This thought scared Toby more than anything else he had experienced that night. For, after all, didn’t that confirm his other dream as a vision also?

Suddenly Toby let out a yelp. There was a horrible stinging pain cutting into his back side. Then he saw it. As Cloupuff turned around to face

Petoleof again, Toby could clearly see the menacing pink petal wedged into the cloud’s back. Toby could barely speak, the pain was so overwhelming. It was like somebody had snuck up behind him and thrust a butcher’s knife into his spine. All he could do was watch as Cloupuff desperately groped behind himself trying to dislodge the petal. Finally Cloupuff was able to remove it and Toby let loose a strained breath. The pain was gone. But the fight wasn’t over.

Petoleof roared, “Leaf-Blade Kick!” and ran straight for Cloupuff. The Magimon bent down, lowering its center of gravity, and then kicked upward.

Toby saw that the leaves that seemed to have been its feet were not actually. Thick, curling roots twisted beneath the leaf coverings forming pseudo-feet. With each kick skyward Petoleof came closer and closer to landing a hit on Cloupuff. Finally, Cloupuff stopped dodging and braced himself. Petoleof’s kick connected with such force that Toby almost fell backwards himself from the pain.

But now Cloupuff was in close range and when Petoleof attempted its next kick it did not land. Petoleof jerked back, losing its balance but could not

move away. Cloupuff had caught the twisted roots of the plant creature’s foot in his grip. Without waiting for a reaction from Petoleof, Cloupuff exclaimed, “Static Shock!” As Toby got to his feet, he saw a bright surge of electric light erupt from Cloupuff’s hands and travel down a shrieking Petoleof’s leg. The electric current continued until Petoleof’s whole body was crackling with blue sparks. Scorched and singed, the Magimon was finally rendered unconscious. Cloupuff released his grip and Petoleof fell limply to the ground. Occasion sparks crawled across its body, making the creature twitch involuntarily.

With the creature finally disabled, Toby now knew what he had to do. Without a thought, he brought the tip of his wand to his forehead, gripping with

both hands, closed his eyes and chanted, “I call upon the powers of magicks present and past, the eternal energies between our world and the next, and the fearsome forces who guard the spatial hex, open the magic portal and seal this monster fast!” Toby’s eyes snapped open and, with his right hand, brought the wand level again. He pointed it to an area behind Petoleof and yelled, “Open!” A glowing orb shot out of the wand tip like he had just fired a bullet. It whipped past Petoleof before settling where Toby had directed it. The orb then exploded with light and in its place hovered a six-foot tall oval-shaped rip in the very air itself.

At this point Cloupuff moved away from Petoleof as the creature slowly regained consciousness. The groggy Magimon barely had time to shriek before

long, slender tendrils of light suddenly emerged from the spatial rip, wrapping greedily around Petoleof’s limbs and dragging it backward. The Magimon began to shriek and fight the tendrils screaming, “No! I won’t go back! No!”

The whole disturbing scene lasted less than a minute. Petoleof struggled and clawed at the light and desperately dug its roots into the ground but the

tendrils would not give. Before it was fully absorbed it gave one final shriek which echoed hollowly even after the portal had faded to nothing.

Toby was silent for another minute afterwards wondering how he had known the spell to open a portal, sealing the monster away. <I haven’t even been

taught any spells yet,> he argued in his mind. Then he caught a brief flash of light out of the corner of his eye and looked back over his shoulder to see Clouzi again. Cloupuff had apparently returned to his original state. <Unbelievable,> mused Toby.
